Brief facts of the case are that Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2, got married on 06.09.2024. During the pendency of the proceedings, Petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 amicably resolved their disputes and executed a Memorandum of Understanding dated 29.07.2026. 6. On a query made by this Court, Respondent No. 2 categorically states that she has entered into the settlement dated 29.07.2026 with the petitioners voluntarily, out of her own free will and without any force, coercion, undue influence or pressure. She further states that she has no grievance remaining against the petitioners and has no objection to the quashing of FIR No. 0129/2026, registered at Police Station Najafgarh, and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. 7. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their disputes, no useful purpose would be served by continuing the criminal proceedings.
