NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following reliefs: a) issue a writ of Mandamus or any other order or direction in the nature of writ directing the Respondents to fix and pay the revised pension in terms of the Government Order No. FD (Spl) 2 PET 99 Bangalore dated 15.2.1999 at Annexure 'E' taking the basic pension at 50% of the last pay drawn and strictly in terms of clause 2.1 and 2.4 and maximum pension amount at Rs.10,160/- or Rs.11,160/- as the case may be in accordance with clause 5.1 thereof: further revision in terms of GO No. FD 03 PEN 2007(1) dated 6.6.2006 at Annexure H: Government Order No. FD 81 PEN 2012 dated 3.5.2012 at Annexure 'J': Government Order No. FD 33 PEN Bengaluru 2018 dated 24.04.2018 at Annexure K: GO NO IE PEN/262/2024 Bengaluru dated 28.08.2024 at Annexure M with all consequential benefits including arrears with interest at 6% from the date it fell due in the interest of justice and equity. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9730 WP No. 35242 of 2025 (b) issue a writ of certiorari or order or direction in the nature of the writ quashing the GO ED 116 UPC 2024 (e) dated 4.07.2024 at Annexure 'O' issued by Respondent No.1 by further declaring that Rs.3,450/- is not the maximum amount of pension under FD (Spl) 2 PET 99 Bangalore dated 15.2.15% at Annexure 'E' in view of clause 5.1 therein in the interest justice and equity.” (c) grant such other reliefs as deemed fit in the circumstance of the case in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. The case of the petitioners is that they were working as Selection Grade Lecturers in private Government-aided colleges and were drawing a salary of Rs.6,000/- per month. They retired as Selection Grade Lecturers on different dates, and their last pay drawn was Rs. 16,200/- per month. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, as per the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No. 23577/2014, disposed of on 01.07.2021, vide Annexure-L, and in W.P.No.103519/2023 and connected matter, - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9730 WP No. 35242 of 2025 disposed of on 04.08.2023, vide Annexure-N, the petitioners are entitled to 50% of the last pay drawn as pension. Contrary to the same, the impugned order dated 04.07.2024, vide Annexure-O, has been issued. The said order has been issued in violation of the orders passed by this Court vide Annexures L and N. 4. The learned HCGP appearing for the respondents submits that the impugned order dated 04.07.2024 was issued contrary to the orders passed by this Court vide Annexures L and N. He further submits that the representations submitted by the petitioners will be considered in terms of the orders passed by this Court vide Annexures L and N, without reference to the order dated 04.07.2024. 5. In view of the above, the following order: (i) The writ petition stands disposed of.
