This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the inaction of the respondents in not considering the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 04.02.2025, 23.08.2025, and 09.09.2025, which action is alleged to be illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was initially appointed as a Technical Work Inspector in Kurnool District in the year 2000 and was subsequently transferred to Nellore District in the same capacity in the year 2001. While so, the petitioner was trapped by the ACB in the year 2008, and a criminal case was registered against him in C.C. No.4 of 2009 on the file of the Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nellore. It is further submitted that thereafter, the 2nd respondent conducted a review and reinstated the petitioner into service, posting him to Ananthapuram Urban, Ananthapuram District. Subsequently, he was transferred back to Nellore District in the year 2013. The petitioner was later promoted to the post of Assistant Engineer in the year 2020 and eventually retired from service. It is further submitted that while he was in service, the aforesaid criminal case in C.C. No.4 of 2009 was adjudicated, and by order dated 26.11.2012, the competent criminal court acquitted the petitioner of the charges. However, for reasons best known to the respondents, even after such acquittal and subsequent retirement, the respondents have not released the pensionary benefits due to the petitioner. Despite submitting several representations dated 04.02.2025, 23.08.2025, and 09.09.2025 requesting release of his pensionary benefits, the respondents have not taken any action on the same till date. Hence the writ petition. 4. Considering the said submissions, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities, more particularly Respondent Nos.2 and 3, to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner in the view of the order passed by the Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Nellore, in C.C. No.4 of 2009, dated 26.11.2012, and pass appropriate orders, including release of the pensionary benefits, in accordance with law, within a reasonable period. There shall be no order as to costs.
