Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the Respondents to consider and regularise/absorb the services of the Petitioner and similarly placed employees, in view of their continuous, uninterrupted, and meritorious service from the date of their initial appointments and to consider their eligibility for regularisation/absorption accordance with law and prior communications, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24361 WP No. 13962 of 2026 including the letters dated 26.03.2024 and 27.03.2024. b. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to grant all consequential service benefits to the Petitioners, including continuity of service from the date of their initial appointment. fixation of pay on par with similarly placed regular employees, arrears of salary, seniority, increments and all other attendant benefits, by taking into consideration their continuous service rendered for the past 26 years. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the respondent Nos.1 and 3, learned counsel for respondent No.2 and perused the material on record. 3. After arguing the matter for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petition may be disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to submit fresh/new representation ventilating his grievances to the respondents. The respondents, who may be directed to consider the same and take appropriate decisions/pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24361 WP No. 13962 of 2026 4. Submission is placed on record. 5. Though several contentions have been urged by both sides in support of their respective claims, without expressing any opinion on the merits/demerits of the rival contentions and in the light of the submission made by on behalf of the petitioner as stated supra, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this petition by reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner to submit a fresh/new representation along with relevant documents to the respondents. If such a representation is submitted by the petitioner within a period of 4 weeks from today, the respondent shall address the grievances of the petitioner and take appropriate decisions/pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 8 weeks from the date of submission of the said representation and communicate the same to the petitioner. 6.
