Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the representations submitted by the Petitioners were considered by Respondent No.4, and appropriate authority i.e., District Magistrate had refused to grant the license to hold a pistol on the ground that such licenses cannot be issued merely for the sake of employment. 5. In view of the fact that the grievance of the Petitioners has already been addressed by Respondent No.4, the Writ Petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the Petitioners to challenge the proceedings issued by District Magistrate pursuant to their representations. 6.
