1. Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s):-
“10.1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ by commanding and directing the respondents to release the interest of Arrears BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Digitally signed by BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Date: 2026.02.02 18:23:45 +0530
2 amount from the date of notional promotion to till the date of actual payment forthwith. 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ by commanding and directing the respondents to pay 18% interest on Arrears upto
07.05.2025. 10.3 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly please to direct the respondents to considered the petitioner case in light of the Circulars as well as decision of this Honble court. 10.4 Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, may also be passed in favor of the petitioner together with cost of the petition.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was not paid difference of pay for which earlier petitioner has filed writ petition bearing WPS No. 1005 of 2018. Pursuant to the order passed in that writ petition, petitioner was paid the difference of pay as arrears of salary as mentioned therein, however, for the delayed payment, no interest has been awarded. Petitioner submitted representation before respondents No.1 and 2, but till date the same is not considered and decided, therefore, direction be issued to respondents No.1 and 2 to take decision on the pending representation within specified time frame.
3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection.
4. On due consideration on the submission of learned counsel for respective parties, nature of grievance raised, without entering into merits of the case this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing respondents No.1 and 2 to consider and take decision on the
3 representation submitted by petitioner in accordance with law as early as possible preferably within further period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands
