This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “(a) issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing Respondent No. 4/CSB Bank Limited to forthwith de-freeze/release Current Account No. 0740020513949 of the Petitioner Company and permit its normal and unrestricted operation; This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 29/08/2026 at 15:57:09 (b) issue a writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, calling for the records pertaining to NCRP Acknowledgement No. 32505260017621 from Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, and quash the debit freeze/lien/restriction imposed on the Petitioner's Current Account to the extent it exceeds the specifically identified disputed amount of ₹2,000/- ; (c) in the alternative, and without prejudice to prayer (a) and (b) above, direct that any lien/hold/restriction on the Petitioner's Current Account be confined strictly to the identified disputed amount of ₹2,000/-, and direct that the remaining balance and normal operation of the Petitioner's Current Account be released and restored forthwith; (d) direct Respondent No. 2 to place before this Hon'ble Court the complete record relating to NCRP Acknowledgement No. 32505260017621, including the basis and relevant instructions concerning the debit freeze/lien, and to disclose the specific transaction(s) and amount(s), if any, alleged to be connected with the complaint or investigation; (e) direct Respondent No. 4 to furnish to the Petitioner copies of the relevant freeze instructions/orders and other legally disclosable records concerning the impugned restriction;…” 2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner maintains a bank account bearing No. 0740020513949 with respondent No. 4 bank, which has been freezed. This is a digitally signed order. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 4. Mr. Singh, learned SPC accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 1/ UOI. Mr. Pal, learned assistant AG accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 2. 5. There is nobody appearing on behalf of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 today. 6. Mr. Pal, learned assistant AG, appears on behalf of respondent No. 2 and states that respondent No. 2 has already issued instructions to defreeze the account of the petitioner, except for maintaining a lien on Rs. 2,000/-. 7. The statement of Mr. Pal, learned assistant AG, is taken on record and the respondent No. 2 is bound by the same. 8. In this view of the matter, the grievance of the petitioner stands satisfied and the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. 9.
