Mishra, A.C to Sr. S.C-I ----- 06/12.06.2026 The present contempt application has been filed against the O.P.No.2 alleging wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the order dated 27.03.2025 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 1433/2025. 2. Pursuant to the order dated 24.04.2026, Mr. Samaresh Prasad Bhandary, Circle Office, Tamar, Ranchi, is physically present before this Court. 3. Mr. A. K. Yadav, learned Sr. S.C-I appearing on behalf of the O.P.No.2, refers to paragraph 5 of the show cause affidavit dated 08.06.2026 filed on behalf of the said opposite party, which reads as under: “5. That it is humbly stated and submitted that in compliance of the order dated 27.03.2025, the answering opposite party No.2 initiated Double Jamabandi Case No. 01/2026-27 on the representation of the petitioner and after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and also all the concerned parties, the reasoned order dated 06.05.2026 has been passed. Photo copy of order dated 06.05.2026 passed in Double Jamabandi Case No. 01/2026-27 is annexed herewith and marked as Annexure-A to this supplementary show cause.” 4. Learned Sr. S.C-I submits that pursuant to the order dated 06.05.2026, the rent receipt with respect to the land appertaining to Mouza-Tamar, Thana No. 241, Khata No. 1299, Plot No. 3269, measuring an area of 1.08 Acres has 2026:JHHC:16950 also been issued to the petitioner. He also produces a copy of the rent receipt which is taken on record. 5. It is thus submitted that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner though accepts that the rent receipt with respect to the said part of the land has been issued to the petitioner, however, he submits that there are certain factual discrepancies in the order dated 06.05.2026 and hence the petitioner may be given liberty to take appropriate recourse against the same as permissible under law. 7. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied, there is no need to further proceed with the matter. 8. The contempt proceeding as against the O.P.No.2 as well as Mr. Samaresh Prasad Bhandary, Circle Office, Tamar, Ranchi are hereby dropped. 9. Mr. Samaresh Prasad Bhandary, Circle Office, Tamar, Ranchi is now fee to draw his monthly salary including the arrears, if any. 10. The restriction imposed upon the said officer vide paragraph 11 of the order dated 24.04.2026 is expunged. 11. The present contempt application stands disposed of. 12. Let this order be communicated to the Chief Secretary as well as the Secretary, Department of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Satish/- (RAJESH SHANKAR, J)
