The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Lalmatiya P.S. Case No.80 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 132, 262, 121(1), 121(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 127(2), 125(a), 352 and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the police have gone to arrest Biradar Marandi and the allegations are made that his wife has called other villagers and in pursuant to that, 30 to 40 persons assembled there and made altercation with the police. He next submits that most of the petitioners are ladies and they are having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph 19 of this application. He also submits that three of ( 2026:JHHC:16794 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 3007 of 2026 the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in A.B.A. No.2484 of 2026. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there of altercation with the police officials. 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons and villagers have assembled pursuant to call made by the wife of Biradar Marandi and most of the petitioners are ladies and they are having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph 19 of this application and three of the co-accused have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in the aforesaid A.B.A. and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of their arrest or surrender, they shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda, in connection with Lalmatiya P.S.
