The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No.54 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the altercation took place between father of the informant on plucking of Mahua fruits. He next submits that there is no allegation of assault against the petitioner and there are general and omnibus allegation. He further submits that mother of this petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench of this court in A.B.A. No.2830 of 2026. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegation of assault are there. 5. Considering that the altercation took place due to plucking of Mahua fruits and allegation of assault are there against father and mother and petitioner’s mother has been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench of this court in the aforesaid A.B.A., in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 54 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Anit Uploaded 12.06.2026
