In respect of query made to learned counsel for the petitioner on 20.01.2026, the petitioner has filed the lease documents with covering memo on 28.01.2026. 3. Perusal of aforesaid documents would show that land of lease granted to the migrated persons can be transferred after permission of the concerned Collector. 4. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition may be disposed of and a direction may be issued to the concerned Collector to decide application filed by the petitioner for permission to sell subject rehabilitation land (Annexure-P/1) within stipulated time frame. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent/State would not oppose the aforesaid limited prayer. 6. Perusal of record would further show that the petitioner has filed application dated 22.06.2020 (Annexure-P/1) before the Collector, 3 Ambikapur, District Surguja for grant of permission to sell some portion of subject land, Patta of which is already in his favour. However, even after lapse of 5 years, no order has been passed by the Collector in respect of application (Annexure-P/1). Therefore, instead of keeping the present petition pending, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this petition with a direction to the Collector, Surguja to decide the application of the petitioner (Annexure-P/1) dated 22.06.2020 within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt/submission of copy of this order, in accordance with law. 7.
