Jiya Lal Bhardwaj, Judge (Oral) In sequel to the direction passed by this Court on 06.04.2026, the parties have come present. 2. The learned Deputy Advocate General has filed the status report. The same is taken on record. 3. The statement of respondent No.2 has been recorded, wherein, he has submitted that he has compromised the matter with the petitioner and he does not 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 have any objection, in case, the FIR No. 129/2019 dated 21.06.2019, registered against the petitioner at Police Station Sadar, Shimla, under Sections 279 and 427 of the IPC and Sections 185 and 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and consequential proceedings initiated on the basis thereof, are also quashed. 4. In view of the fact that the parties have compromised the matter, no fruitful purpose will be served, in case, the petitioner is allowed to face the trial any further. 5. Keeping in view the fact that the matter has been compromised between the petitioner and respondent No.2, the FIR No. 129/2019 dated 21.06.2019, registered at Police Station Sadar, Shimla, under Sections 279 and 427 of the IPC and Sections 185 and 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 6.
