JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER The writ petition is filed by the petitioner alleging that an illegal layout is formed by the private respondents and some of the sites have been sold in favour of third parties and an illegal construction is being put up on the property concerned. He has made representations to Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) in this regard. However as no action has been taken, the present writ petition is filed with the following prayers: "A. Issue a writ of Mandamus or such other writ directing the Respondent No.3 & 4 to the consider the Representations dated 05.12.2025 & 08.12.2025 given by the petitioner i.e ANNEXURE B & C. B. Pass such other Writ/s or Order/s which are deemed to be fit in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of Justice and Equity." 2. Learned counsel for GBA upon instructions, submits that the land has been converted for non agricultural purposes. However, layout plan approval has not been taken. He further submits appropriate action will be initiated against the persons concerned and an opportunity will also be given to them in case - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14789 WP No. 39058 of 2025 if they were to make a request for approval of the layout plan now. 3. Hence, the following: ORDER (i) Respondent nos.1 to 4 are directed to act in respect of the lands which are the subject matter of the writ petition in accordance with law; (ii) It is needless to state if the private respondents or any of the persons interested in the land were to make an application for approval of the layout plan, the same will also be considered in accordance with law; (iii) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
