The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking directions to the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (hereinafter, ‘RCS’) to expeditiously consider the Petitioner’s complaint dated 15th January, 2026 seeking special audit of the Books of Accounts and affairs of the Naveencity CGHS Ltd. Plot No.2, Opp. Sainik Vihar, Pitampura, New Delhi-110034 (hereinafter, ‘the Society’). This is a digitally signed order. The case of the Petitioner is that she is a member of the Society, and had filed a complaint before the RCS in respect of certain irregularities in the financial affairs of the Society. 5. The said complaint was made on 15th January, 2026. However, her grievance is that no action has been taken by the RCS. 6. Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner prays that directions be issued to the RCS to dispose of the complaint in a time bound manner. 7. Mr. Shashi Pratap Singh, ld. Counsel for RCS submits, on instructions, that the complaint has been received, the RCS would take immediate action and dispose of the application within 04 months. 8. Let the RCS hear the Petitioner and the Managing Committee of the Society. Thereafter, the RCS shall take a decision if a special audit is required to be undertaken of the Society’s Books of accounts and affairs. If so, the RCS shall then proceed in accordance with law. 9. Let the aforesaid decision on the complaint of the Petitioner be taken by 31st December, 2026. 10. The petition is disposed of in these terms. Pending applications, if any, are also disposed of.
