ORAL ORDER
(PER: HON'BLE MR. VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE)
1. The petitioners have filed the present petition as a Public Interest Litigation [PIL], inter alia, praying is under.
"The petitioners most respectfully prays to this Hon'ble Court may kindly be please to:- Issue writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent Tahsildar Soraba to execute the order passed by the Land Tribunal Soraba in proceedings number LRD number 1014/75-76 dated 23-12-1992 which is produced at Annexure A to the writ petition in the interest of justice and equity. Please do issue any writ, order or directions which this Hon'ble Court deems fit under this circumstances in the interest of justice and equity."
2. It is the petitioners' case that by an order dated 23.12.1992, the Land Tribunal directed respondent No.4, the Tahsildar, to

confiscate excessive land holdings in Survey No.77, Survey No.188 and Survey No.189 to an extent of 28 acres and 36 guntas. The petitioners state that the writ petition preferred against the said
order being WP.No.16732/1993 was dismissed by an order dated
08.01.2001. Therefore, the order passed by the Land Tribunal attained finality. The petitioners state that despite clear directions, the concerned authorities have not taken any steps to implement the said order.
3. An application is filed seeking impleadment in the present petition. The applicants submit that they had purchased part of the subject land and the orders dated 23.12.1992 referred to by the petitioners is not in respect to the lands as claimed by them. It is also submitted that the petitioners who have filed the present petition are not the disinterested persons, but have claimed part of the lands under the Land Reforms Act. The counsel also submitted that a civil suit (O.S.No.168/2015) before the Hon'ble Civil Judge and JMFC Court, Sarabha, is pending. Therefore, the petitioners have not filed the present petition in public interest, but to pursue private interests.

4. We are not persuaded to examine any controversy with regard to whether the subject land or any part of it is liable for confisication. We consider it apposite to dispose of the present petition by directing respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4 to examine the
contentions as advanced by the petitioners and take such steps as necessary, in accordance with law.
