This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “I. Issue an appropriate writ/ order in the nature of certiorari directing quashing the notification bearing no. Ref. U- 11011/07/2025-MEC dated 27.05.2026 to the extent that it requires the Petitioner to provide a court order under the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 to prove legal guardianship of her sponsor/ guardian. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Ms. Kaushik, learned Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents and states that the respondents shall accept the documents of the petitioner without insisting upon the requirement of a Court order under the Guardianship and Wards Act, 1890, subject to the petitioner producing all other relevant documents. 4. By taking her statement on record and binding the respondents to the same, the petition stands disposed of. 5. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Court in case of any further difficulties.
