This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to remove the unauthorised road side vegetable shops functioning within the prohibited distance i.e100 meters from Attur Uzhavar santhai and also forbearing the any persons from selling the vegetables procured from wholesale markets instead of selling self produced agricultural produce at Attur Uzhavar santhai. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is a farmer cultivating vegetables was issued farmer identity card for selling vegetables at Attur Uzhavar Santhai, it is the grievance of the petitioner that unauthorised roadside vegetable shops started functioning within the prohibited distance of 100 meters. In this regard, petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent and the second respondent issued proceedings on 16.04.2025 and 09.02.2026 stating that action would be taken, however, the same is not taken. Hence, this writ petition. 4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of case, directs the respondents to take action in line with their proceedings dated 16.04.2025 and 09.02.2026 within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order after giving necessary opportunity to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
