[2] This application has been filed by the petitioner namely, Kushal Thakuria under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Case No. 08/2025 Page No.# 2/2 (Corresponding to Palashbari P.S. Case No. 418/2024) under Sections 49/ 103(1)/ 3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in the court of the learned Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup (Amingaon). [3] The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has produced the post-mortem report which is available alongwith the scanned copy of the TCR. [4] The offence is heinous in nature and the allegation is that the accused person has brutally killed his wife. [5] Considering the gravity of the offence, despite the fact that the petitioner has been in detention for a period of 475 days and considering the stage of the trial and the vital witnesses are yet to be examined, the prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.
