2026:JHHC:16477 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI W.P.(Cr.) No. 286 of 2026 Sumitra Devi --- Petitioner Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand 2. The Director General of Police (DGP), Jharkhand, Ranchi. 3. The Deputy Commissioner (D.C.), Palamu. 4. The Superintendent of Police (S.P.), Palamu. 5. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy.S.P), Daltonganj. 6. The Officer-in-charge (Thana Prabhari), Hussainabad, Palamu. 7. Bimlesh Paswan 8. Mitalesh Paswan 9. Rambali Paswan 10. Kamlesh Paswan 11. Nitish Kumar Paswan. --- Respondents --- CORAM: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay --- For the Petitioner : Mr. Robin Kumar, Advocate For the State : A.C. to G.A.-III ----- 02/09.06.2026 Heard Mr. Robin Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.C. to G.A.-III. In this writ application the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to arrest the accused persons who continue to remain at large. It appears that the petitioner is the informant at whose behest Hussainabad P.S. Case No.54 of 2026 was instituted for the offences under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS. The primary grievance of the petitioner seems to be the non- arrest of the accused persons. The petitioner can very well approach the concerned court for redressal of her grievance. In view of the above therefore, this writ application stands disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned court for redressal of her grievance. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
