Jiya Lal Bhardwaj , Judge (Oral) Learned Deputy Advocate General has produced copy of communication dated 17.07.2026 and order dated 05.05.2026, passed by Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-2, which are taken on record. 2. A perusal of aforesaid order dated 05.05.2026, reveals that the claim of the petitioners has been rejected. 3. This Court while disposing of the petition on 29.12.2023, passed in CWP No.10883 of 2023, titled, Vikram Kumar and others vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & others, had given the direction to the 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 respondents to examine/consider the representation Annexure P-2 (Colly) as annexed with the writ petition and pass appropriate orders in view of the judgment dated 09.10.2023, passed in CWP No.1747 of 2023, titled, Dinesh Kumar and Ors. vs. State of Himachal Pradesh and Ors. Since this Court had only given the direction to the respondents to decide the representations made by the petitioners and the competent authority has now passed an order on 05.05.2026, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and the same is closed. However, it is made clear that in case the petitioners are still aggrieved, they shall be at liberty to avail the appropriate remedy, in accordance with law. 4.
