This is a writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or directions in the nature of a mandamus directing the Respondent No. 1, Directorate of Education to strictly and in their terms implement the provisions of the Delhi School Education Act, 1973, the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973 as well as its own orders and directions to Respondent No. 3, particularly paras. 12 and 25 of Recognition Certificate dated 30.5.1989, paras. 12 and 16 of Recognition Certificate dated 6.12.1990 This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 18/08/2026 at 11:44:22 and paras. 13 and 16 of Recognition Certificate dated 6.1.1992 and not permit the Respondent No. 2, Ahlcon Public School to increase its fee in any Academic Year without the prior approval of the Respondent No. 1, Directorate of Education; (b) Issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or directions in the nature of a mandamus directing the Respondent No. 2, Ahlcon Public School to forthwith and going forward collect fees in terms of the fee structure last approved by the Respondent No. 1, Directorate of Education; and…” 2. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Mr. Sharma and Mr. Tare, learned counsels accept notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 and 2, respectively. 4. Ms. Jyoti, Authorised Representative of the Ahlcon Public School/respondent No.2, appears through video conferencing mode and states that there is no increase in fee in the academic session 2026-27. 5. The fee structure shall also be updated on the portal of the school, the same shall display the fee to be charged for this academic session on the website of the school within one week from today. 6. In view of the abovesaid, the present petition is disposed of, along with pending applications if any. 7.
