Bhattacharya … … For the Petitioner Mr. Kapil Guha, … … For the State Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had obtained a sanctioned building plan from Rudrapur Gram Panchayat, P.O. Domjur, District Howrah. The said plan expired in the year 2022. It is further submitted that, owing to the petitioner’s financial constraints, construction in terms of the sanctioned plan could not be undertaken within the validity period. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner subsequently applied for revalidation of the sanctioned plan by way of a representation dated April 28, 2025, addressed to the Pradhan, Rudrapur Gram Panchayat. However, the said representation has not yet been considered. In the circumstances, this Court finds no justification to keep the writ petition pending. Accordingly, WPA 1614 of 2026 is disposed of with a direction upon the Rudrapur Gram Panchayat, P.O. Domjur, District Howrah, to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s prayer for revalidation of the 2 sanctioned plan in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.
