Petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the records of the case from the respondents. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent's authorities to take necessary steps for converting the lying vacant Ex - PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 2 Serviceman quota posts into open category and to be filled with meritorious candidates and also vacant unreserved category post with next candidates from the merit list. 10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent's authorities to issue appointment to the petitioners on the post of Rural Agriculture Extension Officer as advertised by advertisement no.. Stha/Aa-1-Ba(1)/C.Bh.-05- 2023/596. 10.4 In alternative, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent's authorities to decide the representation submitted by the petitioners in a stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. 10.5 Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper according to the facts and circumstances of the case along with the cost of the petition.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners at the outset submits that the petitioners are not pressing this writ petition on merit, however, seeking a direction of this Court to respondent No.3 to take decision on representation submitted by the petitioners expeditiously within a specified time. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, he is having no objection. If the representation submitted by the respective petitioners is still pending consideration, it will be considered and appropriate order will be passed in accordance with law. 4. On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the respective parties, this writ petition, at this stage, is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide pending representation submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
