Anand K., learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri. Channappa Erappa, learned High Court Government Pleader for the respondent - State. 2. Petitioner is accused No.2 in Crime No.69/2026 of Viveknagar Police Station, Bangalore alleging the offences under Sections 118(2), 126(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) and 133 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. 3. Co-accused have been granted regular bail by the learned Trial Magistrate. However, the present petitioner request for grant of anticipatory bail in C.Misc. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24641 CRL.P No. 6839 of 2026 No.25320/2026 is turned down by the learned District Judge. 4. Thereafter, petitioner is before this Court. 5. Allegations as could be found from the complainant averments as against the present petitioner is that she has assaulted the victim with the slippers. Allegations are not so grave so as to deny the anticipatory bail request. 6. Moreover, when the regular bail has been granted to the co-accused persons, petitioner is entitled to an order of grant of bail. Other apprehensions of the prosecution can be met with by imposing suitable and stringent conditions. 7. Accordingly, following Order: ORDER Criminal Petition is allowed. Petitioner is granted anticipatory bail in Crime No.69/2026 of Viveknagar Police - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24641 CRL.P No. 6839 of 2026 Station, Bangalore for the offences punishable under Sections 118(2), 126(2), 352, 351(2), 3(5) and 133 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023with following conditions: (i) Petitioner is directed to join the investigation by appearing before the Investigation Officer on 18.05.2026 at 10.00 a.m. (ii) Investigation Officer is at liberty to take the petitioner to custody and complete the custodial investigation if any, on he very same day before 5.00 p.m. and thereafter enlarge the petitioner on bail by taking a bond in a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like sum to the satisfaction of the Investigation Officer. (iii) Petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation in all respects.
