Mr. Arif Ali Mr. Sarban Bhattacharjee ...for the petitioner The petitioner has challenged a notice issued under Sections 50 and 57 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 in this writ petition. Thus, the petitioner has challenged the action of an authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1055, which is a specified Act under Section 2(r) of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997. In view of the alternative efficacious remedy available under the 1997 Act, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Faced with such situation, the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal in accordance with law. In the light of the submission made by the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach to the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
