Learned counsel, Mr. J. Kalita is present for the claimant. The appellant/Insurance Company is aggrieved by the judgment and award dated 11.12.2025, passed in connection with MAC Case No.92/2023. It is submitted that the operation of the judgment and award dated 11.12.2025, passed in connection with MAC Case No.92/2023 may be stayed. I have considered the submissions made by both sides. Considering the entire aspect of the matter, the operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 11.12.2025, passed in connection with MAC Case No.92/2023 is stayed, subject to the condition that the Insurance Company deposits 50% of the awarded amount within 6(six) weeks before the Registry of this Court. Learned counsel for the claimant has prayed to allow withdrawal of the deposited amount. After the Insurance Company deposits 50% of the awarded amount, the claimant is allowed to withdraw the amount upon proper verification of the claimant by the Registry and upon execution of an indemnity Page No.# 3/3 bond.
