The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to stop the illegal and unauthorized construction being carried out in property bearing No. 2111, Gali Kifayatullah, Pahari Bhojla, Turkman Gate, Delhi-110006. 2. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the construction is without any sanctioned plan. Photographs have been filed with the petition showing the unauthorised construction. 3. Show Cause Notice dated 12th May, 2026 in respect of the subject property, whereby the entire construction on ground, first, second, third and fourth floor of the subject property has been booked. ii. Work Stop Notice dated 14th May, 2026 to SHO, P.S. Chandni Mahal calling upon them to stop all unauthorized construction. iii. Demolition order dated 7th August, 2026 calling upon the owner/occupier to demolish the structure within 15 days, failing which the demolition exercise shall be carried out by the MCD. 4. The aforesaid documents are taken on record. Copy of the same has also been supplied to the counsel for the petitioner. 5. The present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondents to take appropriate action in accordance with law. The concerned SHO shall provide necessary police force to MCD for carrying out the demolition action, in the event the owner/occupier fails to do the same. 6. In the event the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to unauthorised construction, he is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law. 7.
