1. The applicant was granted interim bail for a period of four weeks by this Court on 20.07.2026, keeping in mind his medical condition. 2. The abovesaid period of four weeks has already expired and fresh application has been filed seeking extension of such interim bail for another period of six weeks as the applicant is still indisposed and has to undergo operation. 3. The matter was taken up by this Court on 17.08.2026 when it was informed that the applicant was admitted in a Public Hospital situated in Tarn Taran, Punjab. His interim bail was extended till today and respondent was directed to submit report. This is a digitally signed order. 4. As per status report filed today, the applicant is admitted in the abovesaid hospital and his surgery for Hemorrhoids is scheduled for today itself. Surgery is subject to satisfactory pre-operative and anesthesia assessment. 5. Status report along with the communication received from the concerned hospital which is addressed to ACP, Special Cell is directed to be retained on record. 6. In view of the stated condition of the applicant and the fact that surgery is scheduled for today, the present application is allowed and the interim bail, which was granted to the applicant on 20.07.2026, is extended for a period of four weeks from today on the same terms and conditions. 7.
