In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the Sub Divisional Officer, Ranchi (respondent no. 4) to dispose of M. 765/2025 initiated u/s 163 of the B.N.S.S., 2023. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that despite an order of status quo the private respondents are continuing encroaching upon the land of the petitioner and disturbing his possession. Learned counsel submits that despite the efforts made by the petitioner the respondent no. 4 is not disposing of M. 765/2025. It has further been submitted that in spite of service of notice the respondents in the 163 of the B.N.S.S. proceedings have not appeared while on the other hand are continuing to disturb the petitioner from his peaceful possession. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to expedite the hearing of M. 765/2025 instituted at the behest of petitioner u/s 163 of the B.N.S.S., 2023 and conclude the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
