Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1 is wife of petitioner no. 2 and is in the illegal detention of respondent no. 4. In this regard F.I.R. was registered by the husband/petitioner no. 2 under Section 87 BNS in the year 2026. 2. In compliance of the order dated 10.09.2026, the petitioner no. 1 is present before this Court and has been duly identified by their counsel. The corpus has stated before the Bar that she has not been detained and is willingly living with respondent no. 4. She does not want to live with her husband/petitioner no.2 and she has also moved divorce applicaiton before the concerned court. 3. Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 4 submitted that I.O. has submitted final report and an order has been passed in Crl. Misc. Writ Petition No.21724 of 2026. 4. In view of the above, this Court is of the considered view that the petitioner no. 2 has failed to make out that his wife/petitioner no.1 has been illegally and forcibly detained by respondent no.4. 5. Accordingly, there appears to be no force in the pleading made in the writ petition. The petition is accordingly, dismissed.
