CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V. KAMESWAR RAO HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MANMEET PRITAM SINGH ARORA O R D E R % 14.08.2026
1. An objection has been taken by the learned counsel for the respondents that the present petition is not maintainable before this Court as the remedy for the petitioners is to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal).
2. On this, Mr. Ankur Chhibber, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners would submit that as the impugned rules have been upheld by the Tribunal, in O.A. 1625/2022, no purpose would be served for the petitioners to approach the Tribunal.
3. We are not in agreement with the said submission. At this stage Mr. This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 20/08/2026 at 11:25:31
Chhibber submits that the petitioners shall approach the Tribunal to challenge the rules at the earliest, as the last date for submitting the applications is today.
4. Surely, it goes without saying that if any application is filed, the Tribunal shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law.
5. The petition is disposed of. The pending applications are also
disposed of on having became infructuous.
