This appeal is directed against the order dated 22.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Dhanbad in B.P. No.224 of 2026 arising out of Govindpur P.S. Case No. 89 of 2026 whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that two persons were chased who had come to demand extortion money and one of them had fired upon the police personnel and also thrown bombs. On account of the retaliatory fire the person who was fleeing away, had suffered injuries and was subsequently apprehended with various incriminating materials. Submission has been advanced by the learned senior counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the disclosure of Sudish Kumar Ojha. It has been submitted that the appellant does not have any criminal antecedent and is in custody since 09.03.2026. Learned P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant, we while setting aside the order dated 22.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII, Dhanbad in B.P. No.224 of 2026 arising out of Govindpur P.S. Case No. 89 of 2026, direct the appellant to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) 2 with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Dhanbad in B.P.
