Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for one year one month. The subject matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of 50.5 kgs of ganja. There was no recovery from the possession of the present petitioner. However, learned advocate for the State submits that out of the 16 witnesses proposed to be examined 12 witnesses have already been examined in the present case. Initially petitioner was evading the process of law for a considerable period of time. Having considered the advanced stage of the case and the earlier conduct of the petitioner along with the quantum of seizure, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 352 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
