Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to release forthwith — the court-fee refund of Rs.83,889/- (Rs. Eighty Three Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty Nine Only). in favour of the Petitioner in terms of the order dated 16.02.2026 passed by the Learned District Judge (Commercial Court- 05), South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi in CS (COMM.) No. , 122/2026. b. Direct the Respondents to pay interest at 24% per annum, or This is a digitally signed order. Direct the competent Vigilance [Anti-Corruption Authority to conduct an | independent inquiry into the Petitioner's allegations regarding the alleged demand for iNegal gratification by the unidentified dealing clerk and to take action in accordance with law if the allegations are substantiated. f. Direct initiation of appropriate departmental proceedings against any officer or official found responsible for the unexplained delay, suppression of the file, failure to communicate deficiencies, or any other misconduct ‗revealed during the proceedings. g. Award compensation to the Petitioner for the financial loss and ‗harassment suffered due to the Respondents‘ arbitrary conduct, h. Award exemplary costs of Rs.1,00,000/- in favour of the Petitioner...‖ 4. Issue notice. The learned counsel appearing on advance notice on behalf of respondent/GNCTD accepts notice. 5. Briefly stated the facts of the present case, as mentioned in the writ petition, are that the Commercial Court, Saket, vide order dated 16.02.2026, had directed to refund the court fees amounting to ₹83,889/- to the petitioner. Pursuant to the said order, the petitioner had submitted an application for refund on 11.05.2026. However, despite repeated visits to the concerned office, reminders, an RTI application and a legal notice, the amount has not been refunded to the petitioner till date. It is further alleged that on 13.07.2026, a clerk had demanded a sum of ₹5,000/- for expediting the refund and the petitioner had refused to make such payment. After hearing learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and in view of the issue involved in the instant petition, this Court finds it appropriate to direct that the present petition filed before this Court be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioner, and the respondents are directed to decide the same, within a period of four weeks from date, under intimation to the petitioner herein. 7. In above terms, the present petition alongwith pending applications, stands disposed of. 8.
