CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY DHAR, JUDGE
ORDER
29.06.2026
1. The petitioner, through the medium of present petition, has sought initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for having shown willful disobedience of order dated 19.05.2017 passed by the writ Court in SWP No.1773/2016.
2. Heard and Considered.
3. A perusal of order dated 19.05.2017 passed by the learned Writ Court would reveals that the relief of certiorari prayed by the writ petitioners, including the petitioner herein, has been declined by the Court by observing that impugned Government Order dated 24.05.2016 will not affect the candidates/degree holders from recognized Universities/Colleges. No further direction has been issued by the writ Court against the respondents.

4. In view of the above, the respondents were not required to take any further action in the matter, particularly in respect of the case of the petitioner. Therefore, the present contempt proceedings are misconceived. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out appropriate remedy for redressal of his grievance.
