Petitioners have preferred this writ petition (civil) under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs :- “10.1. A writ and/or an order to set aside the impugned order dated 15.12.2023 (ANNEXURE P/3), by issuing suitable writ, order, etc as by virtue of which the petitioners were stopped from performing their duties as Members of the Board. 10.2. A writ and/or an order in the nature of writ of mandamus to allow the petitioners to perform their function as the Members of the Board, as per the mandate of the Guideline, which is having force of law. 10.3. A writ and/or an order in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the authorities to act in accordance with the Statutory provisions and to correctly read the exception clause mentioned in Impugned Order dated 15.12.2023, which mandates that the appointment which are not to be removed as per law, are not covered under the termination, by permitting the petitioners to continue discharging their function as Members. 10.4. Cost of the proceedings. 10.5. Any other writs and directions that may be deemed fit and just in the facts & circumstances of case.” 2. At the outset, learned Sr. Counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that, petitioner No. 1 Nandkumar Sen was appointed as Chairman of Chhattisgarh Rajya Kesh Shilpi Kalyan Board, petitioner No. 2 was appointed its Vice Chairman and the petitioners No. 3, 4 3 and 5 were appointed as members of aforesaid Board vide order Annexure P-1 dated 9-11-2022. Term of the petitioners was for a period of 3 years, which has completed on 8-11-2025. Therefore, he submits that, by efflux of time, this petition has become infructuous. 3. Learned counsel for the State conceded above submission. 4. In view of above submissions, this petition is dismissed having become infructuous. 5.
