C.R.P. 198/2026 1. This petition has been filed assailing order dated 25th April 2026 passed by the Civil Judge (East), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in CS/SCJ No.631/2024, whereby conditional leave to defend was granted to petitioner/ defendant, subject to deposit of Rs.50,000/-. 2. Counsel for petitioner states that petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.25,000/- and, therefore, prays that the aforesaid amount be reduced, considering that petitioner is a driver and is unable to conjure up the money. In this view of the matter, and considering that a sum of Rs.25,000/- was deposited on 17th January 2026, the order dated 25th April 2026 passed by MACT is modified to the extent that petitioner shall deposit “Rs.25,000/- in the form of an interest-bearing FDR with auto renewal facility”, in the name of Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, within a period of six weeks from today. 4.
