Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent No.1. 2. Sri. Pawan Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent Nos.2 and 3. 3. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (a) Issue Writ in the nature of Mandamus or Order or Direction in the similar nature directing the 25 and 3rd respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 06.08.2024 vide Annexure-E and issue Transferable Development Rights Certificate in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property bearing site - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9835 WP No. 4572 of 2026 Nos. 41 & 42, Katha No. 146/2 (Old No. 49) situated at Kothanur Village, K.R. Puram Hobli, Bengaluru East Taluk measuring East to West: 69 +75/2 Feet and North to South: 54 Feet, totally measuring 3888 Sq. Feet expeditiously; (b) Grant any such other relief or relief's as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. . 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the land of the petitioner having been acquired for the purpose of widening of the Hennur road. Despite several representations having been made by the petitioner for issuance of transferable development rights, the same has not been considered. It is in that background that the petitioner submitted the last representation on 06.08.2024 at Annexure-E. The same also not having been considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 5. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen, it is required for the authorities to consider the same and pass necessary orders within a reasonable period of time either by accepting or rejecting the representation/request accompanied by giving reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9835 WP No. 4572 of 2026 ORDER i) Writ petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued directing respondents to consider the representation dated 06.08.2024 as per the applicable norms in respect of transferable development rights and pass necessary orders within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. iii) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner.
