1. This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:-
“a). Pass a writ of mandamus or any other writ, direction or order appropriate in the circumstances of the case be issued, directing the respondents, especially Respondent No.2 to 6 banks to forthwith defreeze the following bank account of the petitioners : - i) A/c No. 1401019716611520 with Uttkarsh Small Finance Bank i.e. Respondent No.2; ii) A/c No.7645729044 with Kotak Mahindra Bank i.e. Respondent No.3; This is a digitally signed order. iii) A/c No.38210100005444 with the Bank of Baroda i.e. Respondent No.4; (belonging to the Petitioner No.1) iv.). Bank account bearing No.5010081954459 with HDFC Bank Ltd. i.e. Respondent No.5 belonging to the Petitioner No.2. v). Bank account vide A/c No.32030200000586 with the Respondent No.6 i.e. Bank of India, having its Branch office at Lajpat Nagar-2, New Delhi-110024, belonging to the Petitioner No.3. and permit the petitioners to operate their respective aforesaid bank accounts in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. …”
2. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice.
3. Ms. Gaur, learned CGSC accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No. 1. She seeks and is granted time to file a reply before the next date of hearing.
4. Issue notice to the other respondents through all modes including electronic as well as Dasti process on the petitioner taking steps within 1 week from today, returnable on 15.09.2026.
