1. CHUKKA KRANTHI KIRAN Counsel for the Contemnor(S):
1. The Court made the following order:
This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of orders dated 27.11.2023 passed by this Court in I.A.No.1 of 2023 in W.P.No.29355 of 2023. 2. On the last five occasions, Sri Ch.Kranthi Kiran, learned counsel for the petitioners sought adjournments. On 02.03.2026, when this Court is about to dismiss the contempt case, learned counsel for the petitioners again sought adjournment and accordingly, it was listed today. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, instead of learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Bhargav Thimmaraju, learned counsel appeared on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioners that too without bundle and sought further adjournment.
No reasons are forthcoming as to why the petitioners are seeking adjournments casually, having filed a contempt case. In the said view of circumstances, it can be presumed that, petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the case and the contempt can be dismissed. Accordingly, the contempt case is dismissed. No costs. Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI BRS
