The present application is filed seeking transfer of divorce petition filed by respondent-husband from Family Court, Pune to Family Court, Latur. The applicant-wife is staying at a place named Chakur, which is around 40 k.ms. away from Latur. Distance between Latur and Pune is around 400 k.ms. It is not in dispute that the child of the parties, who is presently about 07 years old, stays with the applicant-wife. The applicant- wife does not have any source of income. Having regard to the fact that the minor child of the parties is staying with the applicant-wife, it will be appropriate to order transfer of the marriage petition from Family Court, 2026:BHC-AUG:46709 2 16_MCA_216_2026 Pune to Family Court, Latur, as prayed.
