This is petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for completion and concluding of arbitral proceedings. 2. Issue notice. 3. Mr. Kaustubh Prakash, learned counsel appearing on advance service accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. He states, on instructions, without prejudice to the rights and contentions qua contents of the present petition, that the respondent has no objection in case the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended. He informs that the mandate got over on 10.07.2026. 4. He further informs that the learned Arbitral Tribunal is at present hearing final arguments being addressed by the petitioner/claimant. 5. Having regard to the aforesaid, the petition is allowed. 6. The period with effect from 10.07.2026 till date is regularized. Since the arguments have commenced only recently, it would be in the interests of justice to grant further extension of six (06) months from date for the Arbitral Tribunal This is a digitally signed order.
