Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to set-aside the impugned order dated 26.12.2025 (Annexure P-1) passed by the respondent no. 2 and to include the name of PAWAN KUMAR JHA Digitally signed by PAWAN KUMAR JHA 2 / 3 the petitioner in promotion list as per seniority list within stipulated time, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner and to grant promotion on the post of first promotion Progress Assistant and second promotion Assistant Statistics Officer from actual date of promotion as per seniority list within stipulated time, with all consequential benefit, in the interest of justice. 10.3 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is working as Enumerator was expecting to be promoted on the post of Progress Assistant/Computer (Third Class Non-Clerical Category Regional Cadre). However, when the order of promotion was issued by respondents on 26.12.2025 petitioner found that his name was not there, however, name of Respondents No. 5 & 6, who are below the petitioner in gradation list, was there in promotion order. Aggrieved with which, petitioner submitted representation before Respondent No. 4, which is pending consideration and therefore, direction be issued to Respondent No. 4 to take decision on the pending representation at the earliest. 3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised, without entering into merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of directing Respondent No. 4 to take decision on the pending representation of petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 02 months from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 3 / 3 5.
