This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioner seeking the following reliefs: “a) Allow this petition, directing the transfer of the petitioner from Central Jail, Tihar, New Delhi, to Sabarmati Central Prison, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, being his primary and original place of judicial custody; b) Pass such further or other order(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, has filed a short reply and submits that there is no objection to the petitioner being transferred to Sabarmati Jail.
