JUSTICE S.R.KRISHNA KUMAR ORAL ORDER In this petition, petitioner seeks the following relief: “In view of all the above mentioned facts and circumstances, it is just expedient that the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka be pleased to strictly direct the Respondent No.3 i.e., the Hon. Secretary of the Marimallappa Educational Institution, Mysuru for early adhering to and honoring the Revision Petition No.58/2025 (E P/337/DGW/2025) (Annexure-A) in the interest of justice and equity thus respecting the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka order.” - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13791 WP No. 668 of 2026 2. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that the order at Annexure – A dated 29.11.2025 passed in Revision Petition No.58/2025 has not been implemented or given effect to by the respondent Nos.3 and 4 and as such, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present petition. 3. Per contra, learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 has filed a memo enclosing copy of the Review Petition No.3/2026 filed by respondent Nos.3 and 4 against the aforesaid order, which has been returned on the ground that the present writ petition is pending and that the present petition may be disposed of directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the aforesaid Review Petition 3/2026 within a stipulated time frame. 4. So also, learned AGA submits that if reasonable time is granted, respondent No.1 would consider and pass appropriate orders in Review Petition No.3/2026 preferred by respondent Nos.3 and 4, in accordance with law after hearing both sides. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13791 WP No. 668 of 2026 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of the petition by issuing certain directions. 6. In the result, I pass the following: ORDER (i) The petition is hereby disposed of. (ii) The petitioner / party-in-person and respondent Nos.3 and 4 shall appear before respondent No.1 on 23.03.2026 at 03.00 P.M. without awaiting further notice from respondent No.1. (iii) Liberty is reserved in favour of both parties to file pleadings, documents, objections, etc., which shall be considered by respondent No.1, in accordance with law. (iv) Respondent No.1 shall consider and pass appropriate orders on Review Petition No.3/2026 filed by respondent Nos.3 and 4 arising out of Revision Petition No.58/2025 within a period of three weeks from 23.03.2026. (iv) All rival contentions on all aspects of the matter are kept/left open and no opinion is expressed on merits/demerits of the rival contentions.
