On the last date of hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant had requested for an adjournment and this Court had given a final opportunity to the appellant to address the Court, given the pendency of the matter for almost eight years. The Order dated 20.01.2026 is extracted below: “1. Learned counsel for the appellant requests for an adjournment as the arguing counsel is unwell today. 2. None appears for the respondent, despite being served. 3. The record reflects that on the last date of hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant was not present and it was adjourned to file the translated copies, if required. Since multiple adjournments have been requested, the appellant is given a final opportunity to address the Court on 10.02.2026. 4.
