G KUMAR YADDLAPALLI Counsel for the Respondent/complainant: 1. PUBLIC PROSECUTOR 2 The Court made the following ORDER The instant petition under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner/Accused No.1, seeking to enlarge him on bail in connection with Crime No.41 of 2025 of Maredumilli Police Station, A.S.R.District, which is registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent State. Perused the material on record. Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner is innocent of the offence and he is falsely implicated in the present crime and nothing has been seized from his possession and that there is no association with the other accused to this Petitioner and requested to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that respondent Police seized 3 bags containing 35 kgs, 35 kgs and 40 kgs. respectively in each bag. Petitioner is shown as Accused No.1 in the present crime and that investigation is in progress. At this stage, it is not a fit case to release the petitioner on bail since the material contents of the complaint require full- fledged investigation. Considering the submissions made, as rightly put by learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner. 3 Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. DR. JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA 05.02.2026 Mjl/* 4 HON’BLE DR.
