JUSTICE AMIT BANSAL O R D E R % 18.08.2026 1. This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 3rd August, 2026. 2. Vide order dated 3rd August, 2026, while issuing notice in the writ petition, MCD was directed to ensure that no locks are installed at the gates at the entrance to the S-Block Park, Greater Kailash-I under Ward No. 173, South Zone, MCD (‘subject park’). 3. Petitioner has filed photographs of 5th August, 2026 and 11th August, This is a digitally signed order. Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents on advance notice submits that the locks have been removed. She has furnished photographs taken on 17th August, 2026 to show that locks have now been removed. She further submits that a notice has been sent to President/Secretary of the Residents’ Welfare Association (RWA) for keeping gazebo and the gates of the park open for the general public. 4.1. The aforesaid notice and photographs are handed over in Court and are taken on record. 5. In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing respondents to ensure that no locks are installed in any of the gates at the subject park.
