JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court calling in question the registration of a crime in Crime No.36/2026 for offences punishable under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(2), 352, 127(2) and 74 of the BNS, 2023 and under Sections 3(1)(r)(s) and 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. 2. Heard Sri. Ravishankar K., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Sri. Channappa Earappa, learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1 and have perused the material on record. 3. A complaint is registered for allegations under Section 118(2) of the BNS, 2023, which is Section 324 of the earlier regime - the IPC. 4. Learned HCGP on verification of the records would submit that there are four injuries sustained as depicted in the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13468 CRL.P No. 3117 of 2026 wound certificate, which are four in number, one of which is grievous. 5. In that light, there is no warrant of interference at this stage that too when the matter is at the stage of investigation. 6.
