Hussain, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the accused-applicant. Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Addl. P.P., representing the State respondent. Mr. S. Das, learned Amicus Curiae has appeared for respondent no. 2. This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicant in connection with Dhubri Police Station Case No. 224/2026, registered under Sections 87/127(2)/64(1)/77/35 (2) of BNS, 2023, read with Section 4/12 of POCSO Act. A coordinate bench of this Court, vide order dated 29.07.2026, granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant. In the instant case, charge sheet has been filed on 29.07.2026, and the matter is pending for consideration of charge, which is fixed on 29.01.2027. The TCR in the instant case has been received and the same has been perused. Taking into account the fact that the accused-applicant is already cooperating with the investigation by appearing before the IO, the interim pre-arrest bail granted on 29.07.2026 is hereby made absolute.
